  • Per sister college RCC’s Academic Senate: “President Scott-Coe: The Norco draft of an AI framework (with notes from colleagues at Moreno Valley College) was shared at District Academic Senate. It is comprehensive as well as flexible, with the goal to create more cohesion across the three colleges/district. Discussion ensued about how to review the new document. Senate agreed to review the Norco/MVC framework draft alongside TLLC’s materials in Fall.”
  • Sept 2024 Received Two AI Grand Challenge Grant Award
  • AI Grand Challenge Grant "Sub to Berkeley: The AI Grand Challenge grant supports education by leveraging AI for teaching and learning. This grant helps to address two equity gaps found within the Engineering program: success and Retention for Hispanic Males.
  • AI Grand Challenge Grant "Sub to UCR": Our application proposes to use AI to help close equity gaps in STEM courses at Norco College by providing resources to aid student learning during and after lectures. AI tools will be utilized to fill the need for online student tutor services. AI will also be used to increase AI inside and outside of the classroom to improve students' experiences and increase their success.
