- Counseling is starting to explore integrating AI in meaningful ways. So far, a new Cuyamaca Majors/Pathways Generator that a Career Services Counselor, helped generate, and the Outreach team is now using to help the High School students match up their goals and interests with a major/ACP that they can select when they apply to the college. We just launched this a couple weeks ago so we haven't found a place for it to live on our website.
- A Counselor is working on an AI chatbot around our FAQ so that it can be more interactive and easy for students to ask simple questions and get answers. Hopefully we can get this one done soon. We learned how to do this and got the tools for this when two Counselors took part in the inaugural PlayLab AI Professional Learning Community (PLC) - a collaboration between PlayLab AI, the Berkeley School of Education, and the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office.
